Alper Altuntas
Biography
Alper Altuntas is a software engineer at the National
Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). He holds a Ph.D.
from North Carolina State University. At NCAR, he leads
and participates in the development, maintenance, and
evaluation of existing and future ocean model components
of the Community Earth System Model (CESM). His areas of
interests include formal methods, model checking,
high-performance computing, and ocean modeling.
