Martin Callaghan
Biography
Martin is a Research Computing Consultant at The
University of Leeds, where he manages
the University HPC and Research Computing training programme for research staff and students.
Martin has a background in training and research support and is a Software Carpentry trainer
and instructor trainer. His research interests are in Deep Learning for text analytics and
he has a particular interest in encouraging under-represented research communities in the Arts and
Humanities to explore the relevance and potential applications of High Performance Computing to
their research.
