Biography
I am a Ph. D. student in my fourth year in Computer
Science Department of University of New Mexico. My advisor
is Prof. Trilce Estrada. My research interest includes
machine learning, big data analysis, and their
applications in the analysis of scientific simulations
using parallel computing techniques. I worked with Prof.
Estrada on in-situ data analysis especially the
distributed unsupervised learning algorithms that can
scale well and preserve privacy. In the summer of 2017, I
worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory with Dr. Qiang
Guan on visualization the training of deep neural
networks. In the summer of 2016, I worked at Los Alamos
National Laboratory with Dr. Ryan Wollaeger on the domain
decomposition for optimization of Monte Carlo simulation
of super novae.
