Jens Henrik Goebbert
Biography
Jens Henrik Göbbert is scientist at the Jülich
Supercomputing Institute (JSC) of the Research Center
Jülich. His main focus is visualization of large
scientific data sets, in situ visualization and code
coupling as well as enabling virtual reality for
science.
He received his diploma in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2006 and worked at the Institute for Technical Combustion in the field of turbulence theory until 2014. Through this, he has deepened his knowledge of High Performance Computing and in 2014 he changed to the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance's simulation laboratory "Immersive Visualization" at the IT Center of RWTH Aachen University. Based on the many years of close cooperation with the JSC, he is now working as a permanent research assistant in the Cross-Sectional Team "Visualization" of the Jülich Supercomputing Institute since 2016.
