Joshua Higgins is a PhD candidate and member of the High Performance Computing Research Group at the University of Huddersfield. His research interests include scientific cluster and grid computing, geographically distributed systems and virtualization technologies. In addition to research activities, he teaches undergraduate students learning about parallel computing architectures, clusters and grids, and provides day to day support through the role of administrator for the university’s campus grid.
