Sandy Landsberg
Biography
Ms. Alexandra (Sandy) Landsberg is the Deputy Director for
the Department of Defense High Performance Computing
Modernization Program (HPCMP), managed by the U.S. Army
Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC),
Information Technology Laboratory. Landsberg has over 25
years of experience within the federal government in high
performance computing. Prior to joining the DoD HPCMP,
Landsberg worked in the Advanced Scientific Computing
Research (ASCR) program within the Department of Energy
Office of Science. Ms. Landsberg has also held various
positions in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS),
the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the Naval
Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), and the Naval Research
Laboratory (NRL). Landsberg interests include
computational science and engineering applied to
real-world challenges, high-performance computing, and
most recently the intersection of compute- and
data-intensive applications.
