John Leidel is the Chief Scientist and founder of Tactical Computing Laboratories where he leads efforts in coupling parallel programming models to advanced micro architectures. Prior to founding Tactical Computing Labs, Dr. Leidel led compiler and system software development for Micron's Advanced Memory Systems research group. Dr. Leidel completed his PhD in computer science in the Data Intensive Scalable Computing Laboratory at Texas Tech University under the direction of Dr. Yong Chen. He currently holds patents in computer architecture, micro architecture, scalable software algorithms and runtime systems.
