Abdul N. Malmi-Kakkada
Biography
Dr. Abdul Malmi Kakkada, a postdoctoral fellow in Dave
Thirumalai’s group (Department of Chemistry at the UT
Austin) with his collaborators established a model to
study the proliferation behavior of tumor cells and
complex spatial and time dependent cell migration
patterns. Their work is directed towards identifying
collective cell migration patterns in the context of
cancer metastasis.
