Anastasiia Novikova received her master's degree in Computer Science with the topic "Parallel MIMD-simulator for network object with distributed parameters and given concurrency level" from Donetsk National Technical University, Ukraine in 2015. She worked at the Max-Planck-Institute Magdeburg in the Process Synthesis and Process Dynamics group at the Dynamic Simulation of Interconnected Solids Processes project in 2014/2015. Since 2016 she is a doctoral researcher on the Advanced Computation and I/O Methods for Earth-System Simulations (AIMES) project at the University of Hamburg. Her current research interests are in scientific data compression algorithms, I/O middle-ware optimisation.
