Daniel de Oliveira is a Professor of the Institute of Computing of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) since 2013. He received the Doctor of Science degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) in 2012. His current research interests include scientific workflows, provenance, cloud computing, high performance computing and distributed and parallel databases. He participates in research projects in those areas, with funding from several Brazilian government agencies, including CNPq, CAPES and FAPERJ. He is a member of several program committees of national and international conferences and workshops.
