Biography
Roberto Proietti received the M.S. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in optical communication systems and networking from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy, in 2009. He is currently a Project Scientist with the University of California, Davis, CA, USA. His research interests include optical switching technologies and architectures for supercomputing and data center, high-spectrum efficiency coherent transmission systems, elastic optical networking, and radio over fiber systems.
