Paolo Rech
Biography
I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of
Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul
(UFRGS) since October 2012.
I hold a Ph.D. (2009) degree in Information Science and Technologies from Dip. di Ingegneria dell’Informazione, Universitá di Padova, in Italy, where I also obtained my M.Sc. (2006) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Between 2009 and 2012 I was a Research Associate in the Laboratoire d’Informatique de Robotique et de Microélectronique de Montpellier (LIRMM), in France, working with radiation effects at high altitudes on memories and computing systems.
