Daniel Ruiz
Biography
Daniel Ruiz is a graduate research engineer of the Mobile
and embedded-based HPC group at the Barcelona
Supercomputing Center (BSC). He joined the Mont-Blanc
project in 2013 as resident student at BSC with a system
administration role. He is currently responsible for the
deployment and the evaluation of state-of-the-art
Arm-based HPC platforms. His expertise also covers
managing, porting and optimizing the software stack used
within the Mont-Blanc project. He has participated in the
ISC - Student Cluster Competition of 2015, 2016 and 2017,
first as student and the two following years as advisor.
He has also been an instructor of four PRACE courses
focused on programming Arm-based platforms from 2014 to
2017 as well as at the HiPEAC conference at 2017.
