Carsten Uphoff
Biography
Carsten Uphoff received the M.Sc. degree in electrical
engineering and information technology from the Technical
University of Munich, Germany, in 2015.
Since then, he is a research assistant in the group for algorithms and software for high performance computing at the department of informatics and he is currently pursuing a doctorate in computer science.
His current research interest lies in code generation for finite element software, focusing on peak performance on the latest hardware architectures.
He is one of the main developers of the earthquake simulation software package SeisSol.
