Tomo-Hiko Watanabe
Biography
Tomo-Hiko Watanabe is a professor at the Department of
Physics in Nagoya University. He received his Ph.D. degree
in 1993 from Tohoku University. He has long and wide
experiences in the fields of space and fusion plasma
simulations. He has published many papers in Phys. Rev.
Lett., Phys. Plasmas, Nucl. Fusion, J. Geophys. Res.,
etc., and his works are involved not only in plasma
physics but also in the computational physics and the
development of numerical algorithms. His current research
interests are in high performance computing and its
application to fusion and space plasmas.
