Steven A. Wright
Biography
Steven Wright is a post-doctoral research fellow at the
University of Warwick. He is currently working on the
Collaborative Computational Project in Plasma Physics with
colleagues from several UK universities, the UK Atomic
Energy Authority, the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and
AWE, developing high performance plasma physics simulation
codes. Previously Dr. Wright has collaborated with
Rolls-Royce on developing performance models from
closed-source applications, specifically focusing on the
finite element code, LS-DYNA. Dr. Wright completed his PhD
in 2014 at the University of Warwick, in collaboration
with AWE plc. and LANL, focusing on the monitoring,
analysis and optimisation of I/O in parallel applications.
