DescriptionThe Joint International Workshop on Parallel Data
Storage and Data Intensive Scalable Computing Systems
(PDSW-DISCS) is a merger of two successful SC workshop
communities, the Parallel Data Storage Workshop (PDSW)
and Data Intensive Scalable Computing Systems (DISCS).
Our goal is to better promote and stimulate researchers’
interactions and to better address some of most critical
challenges for scientific data storage, management,
devices, and processing infrastructure for both
traditional compute intensive simulations as well as
data-intensive high performance computing solutions.
Novel submitted papers are peer-reviewed in the late
summer, about 8-12 selected for presentation at the full
day SC workshop, published in either the ACM or IEEE
Digital Library and shepherded for proposal to a journal
special issue. The workshop web site can be reached
